The Bell Ringer Album and Tour Are Raising Money for the Toys for Tots Literacy Program

We wanted to be sure to let everyone know that this year we are supporting the Toys for Tots Literacy Program.

With each album sale and from our short tour, we'll be donating a portion of proceeds to this cool and very important program for kids.

Many of you may know that Toys for Tots was established by the Marine Corp to provide children with gifts during Christmastime. What some of you may not be aware of is a related program they began to bring literacy to our children.

I love the idea of a child, who might not otherwise have a gift on Christmas, receiving a present from the Toys are Tots people. But maybe even more, I love their program that provides these children with skills that will help them build a brighter future.

I grew up an absolute book and story maven. It's why I took an English Degree in college, with a writing emphasis. It's why I wound up writing my own books. Today, I still buy books like crazy. And I've loved passing along my love of reading to my own children.

Plus, the story of The Bell Ringer--our debut album--is of a guy who started out on the streets, and had virtually no support. The Toys for Tots Literacy Program is really in-line with the story we tell.

So, please know that anytime you're supporting us, you're also supporting a child somewhere in the effort to gain one of the most important and most beautiful skills they will ever need.
